Rotherfield Greys Neighbourhood Plan
Rotherfield Greys Parish Councillors are keen to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan and need your help!

Some of the advantages of Rotherfield Greys having a Neighbourhood Plan include:
- Enabling the community to protect important features (heritage, green spaces, public views, character).
- Enabling the community to play a stronger role in shaping the areas you live/work in.
- Enabling the community to address local needs (local housing needs, needs for recreation space, need for employment facilities).
- More CIL money is available to the community when a neighbourhood plan is in place. It can help to bring communities together.
- Can help to build a better relationship between the district and parish.
We will need a chair, deputy chair, and secretary early on in the process to help with the running of the steering group plus other members. Anyone can join – and typically members are: Parish councillors; Local residents; Representatives of local community organisations; and Local business owners.
